Gigachad Theme Documentation

Welcome to the official documentation for the Gigachad Shopify theme. Designed for high-performance stores, Gigachad focuses on conversion, speed, and a bold aesthetic that commands attention.

Getting Started

Install from the Shopify Theme Store

  1. Open your Shopify admin and go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click Visit Theme Store to open the Shopify Theme Store.
  3. Search for Gigachad and open the theme detail page.
  4. Click Try theme (for a trial) or Buy (if you are purchasing).
  5. Back in your Shopify admin under Online Store > Themes, find Gigachad in the Theme library.
  6. Click Customize to start setting up your store with Gigachad.

Tip: You can keep Gigachad in your theme library while you customize it, then click Publish when you are ready to make it live.

Theme Settings

Customize the global look and feel of your store under the Theme settings tab in the editor.

Colors

Gigachad allows you to define a primary, secondary, and accent color palette. Use high-contrast colors for buttons to maximize conversions.

Typography

Select from Shopify's library of fonts. We recommend using a bold sans-serif font for headings (like 'Oswald' or 'Montserrat') to match the Gigachad aesthetic.

Layout

Control the page width and spacing. You can choose between a 'Boxed' or 'Full-width' layout for your main content areas.

Sections

Gigachad includes over 25+ customizable sections. Here are some of the key sections:

Hero Banner

A full-width image banner with overlay text and dual call-to-action buttons. Perfect for announcements.

Featured Collection

Display a grid of products from a specific collection. Supports slider or grid view.

Image with Text

Showcase your brand story or product details with an alternating layout.

Testimonials

Build trust with customer reviews. Includes options for star ratings and author images.

Product Page

The product page is optimized for sales. You can drag and drop blocks to rearrange the layout.

  • Buy Buttons: Enable dynamic checkout buttons (PayPal, Apple Pay) for faster purchasing.
  • Collapsible Tabs: Use these for shipping info, returns policy, or size charts to keep the page clean.
  • Related Products: Automatically show recommended products based on the current item.
  • Sticky Add to Cart: Enable the sticky bar on mobile to keep the CTA always visible.

Cart & Checkout

Cart Type

Go to Theme Settings > Cart to choose your cart type:

  • Drawer: Opens a side drawer without leaving the page. Recommended for better UX.
  • Page: Redirects the user to a dedicated cart page.
  • Notification: Shows a popup notification when an item is added.
